Ian Fleming was born on May 28, 1908, in London, England. His father was Valentine Fleming, a Member of Parliament, and his mother was Evelyn St. Croix Fleming, a daughter of the Earl of Wemyss. Fleming had two older brothers, Peter and Richard.
