In Correlation Neighborhoods and the New Politics of Recognition, author Michael Dawson argues that these two forms of inequality are deeply intertwined and that they cannot be solved separately. Dawson draws on a wealth of data to show how correlation neighborhoods are a major source of social and economic problems. He also shows how these neighborhoods are often created and maintained by government policies that promote racial segregation and economic inequality.

Dawson's book is a must-read for anyone who wants to understand the challenges facing America today and who is interested in finding solutions to these challenges. It is a groundbreaking work of scholarship that will shape the debate on racial and economic inequality for years to come.
